내가 좀 찾아봤는데 월요일 휴무가 많더라‘.
‘휴무(Closed day)’ means to take a break without working. Different restaurants have different business days, so be sure to check the closed days before visiting. Monday is the day after the weekend, so many restaurants are closed.
There are many expressions used in relation to restaurant business. Doing business is called ‘식당 문을 열다(The restaurant door is open), 영업을 하다(doing business), 영업일이다(it’s a business day)’. On the contrary, there is an expression that does not do business, ‘문을 닫다(close the door), 영업을 안 하다(do not operate), 휴무일이다(it is a holiday), 가게를 쉬다(the store is closed)’.
‘월요일에 영업하고 평점도 높아.’
‘평점’ refers to the score that evaluates the value. They usually evaluate how they feel after watching a movie or reading a book, or using a facility such as a restaurant, cafe, or beauty salon. For a restaurant, you can usually give it a score of 1 to 5. The higher the rating, the more reliable the restaurant is, so you can check the rating when choosing a restaurant.
There is a word with the same meaning as ‘별점’. When I rate something, I often paint a star-shaped figure. This is expressed as a “별점” by combining “별(star)” and “점수(score).”
‘오, 후기도 좋은데?’
‘후기’ is a review, which means a comment. Each person can use a variety of emotional expressions. It is used in various situations such as visit reviews, user reviews, and impression reviews, and the degree of good or bad is expressed as ‘후기가 좋다(Reviews are good.)’ and ‘후기가 나쁘다/별로다(Reviews are bad/not so good’). Many people refer to reviews when choosing something.
