‘치’ is a certain share or amount.
You get a prescription, go to the pharmacy, and the pharmacist makes the medicine according to your prescription. The amount of medicine that is manufactured and given is usually for a certain period of time, such as 3, 5, or 7 days. At this point, ‘3일 치’ is same as ‘3 day supply’. we can say ‘3일 분’ also.

When you give your pharmacist a prescription, he or she gives you the medication and explains how to take it, whether you should take it before or after you eat, and any special ingredients or things to watch out for.
'공복' talks about having an empty stomach before you eat. '빈속' is the same word. '복용' means take your medicine. '식사 챙겨 드시고 복용하는 게 좋아요.' means it's better to take your medicine after you eat.
