‘최근 발열이나 기침 증상 있으셨어요?’
A fever check is a standard practice before someone enters a hospital or healthcare facility. When you walk into a Korean hospital and check in, the nurse will check your temperature and may ask you if you've had a fever recently, or if you've had a cough or other symptoms.
When checking for fever, Korean use the phrase "열을 재다." If you have a fever, we say “열이 나다."; if you have a slight fever, we say "미열이 있다.”, “열이 조금 있다.”; and if you have no fever at all, we say "열은 없어요".
‘처방전 들고 1층에 있는 약국으로 가시면 돼요.’
In Korea, you only receive medical treatment at hospitals, and you receive medication at pharmacies, not hospitals. You can get medication by submitting a prescription from a hospital to a pharmacy. The document you submit to a pharmacy to get medication is called a '처방전'.
